What a great story! I love hearing about your adventures from your "neck of the woods." Great storytelling. I felt my heart flutter when you walked back to your car and the man wanted your daughter to come to his car. There's so much packed in your story. Thank you for sharing!

Dearest Laura,

Thank you for bringing me into your Montana; your kitchen, with bears, huckleberries, the fields, the motherhood, your children and of course morels. I love this piece so so much. I love feeling present in the vulnerable, conflicted, and courageous learning with guidebook, fear, trust and holding buckets. It's a feast of story telling. xo
